March 2010 – New DAFs
We have now taken delivery of two new DAF rigids for our Palletline operation.  Our trucks are all on a 5-year contract hire replacement deal with Ryder plc, which means that each vehicle in our fleet is updated and replaced on a regular cycle.   

January 2010 – Masternaut 3X Vehicle Tracking
Our continued commitment to improved service has resulted in investment in the latest vehicle tracking technology to monitor delivery vehicles.  The system helps us focus on vehicle location and deliver better customer focus.   

August 09 – Re-location of Accounts Office
In order to integrate our operation fully the accounts office, which had operated from Cumbria since 1994, was closed and moved to our Haydock site. This was principally because of our greatly increased customer base.   

April 09 – Closure of Widnes Site
After allowing 3 months for things to settle down and people to get to know each other the JH Davies Widnes site was closed. All operations were transferred to the Law Distribution site in Haydock.    

January 09 – Purchase of J.H.Davies of Widnes
Our determination to expand and enlarge our customer base resulted in our purchase of the assets of J H Davies Haulage from their administrators. By taking on former JH Davies drivers and traffic office staff we were able to provide  continuity of service for the JH Davies’ customers. As they were a fellow member of Palletline the change to the service provided for Palletline customers was seamless, with ourselves taking over the Liverpool area that they covered    

Autumn 08 - Sophisticated New Warehouse Management System Implemented
This new Radio Frequency barcode based scanning and report warehouse system provides continuous accurate real time information on stock movements, further enhancing the quality of the service that Law Distribution offers its clients.   

Summer 08 - Customs & Excise Wet Bond Facility Authorised
Law Distribution now offers wet bonded storage for the full range of alcohol and other Customs and Excise controlled products for UK and International clients.

Summer 08 - Digital POD Signature Capture System
We have implemented the effective digital signature capture system which uses the mobile phone network to provide real time confirmation of deliveries.

Spring 08 - Comprehensive Traffic Management System Implemented
Continuing our commitment to provide highest levels of service, using the most advanced systems, we have implemented a new leading edge transport management system.  This enables customers to optionally input jobs orders then track the transportation of their consignments online real time.  PODs and other information are also available online.

Spring 08 - Internet Fulfilment Capability Extended
We've now enhanced our internet fulfilment capability to provide a full range of order receipt, picking and packing services which we are providing to various clients such as BritishBins who supply wheelie bins nationwide.

Summer 07 - Revamped Sales Department
The new sales department is being headed by Warehousing and Transport veteran, Yorkshire man Stan Moyser.

Summer 07 - Enlarged Fleet
Law increases its fleet to 18 LGV vehicles as well increasing the number of lighter vehicles.

Summer 07 - Move to New Warehouse Facility
Law Distribution which was based in Walkden, Manchester have relocated the business to Haydock Cross, just off the East Lancs Road (A580) and M6 junction. The move represents a major leap forward for the company giving them a 100,000 sq ft of high bay warehouse to serve their customers
